Simon Pearce
Simon Pearce glassblowers carry on the antient European tradition of blowing and finishing each piece by hand. Apprentice glassblowers take many years to learn the complex process and perfect their skills. THe unmistakeable design on the base of each piece, formed by the pontil iron, is left as the Simon Pearce trademark. Simon Pearce Glass is made completely in the United States, and is completely lead free. Every piece is hand crafted by artisans, therfore no two pieces are identical. When ordering in pairs, such as candlesticks, hurricanes and lamps, it is best to order both at the same time. In these cases, we will do our best to match as closely as possible. Slight variations in size and height are to be expected in the stemware. Care We recommend hand washing with ward soapy water and drying with a dishtowel immediately. Although machine dishwashing rarely causes problems, we do not guarantee it as dishwasher or microwave safe. Candleholder Precaution Intense heat may cause glass candleholders to crack. Do not leave a burning candle unattended of allow the flame to get closer than 1" from the candleholder rim.

Founded in 1971, Simon Pearce originated as a small glassblowing workshop in Kilkenny, Ireland. In 1981, the operation was moved to a historic woolen mill on the banks of the Ottauquechee River in Quechee, Vermont.
